Your child's health

Mother and child

As a parent you want your child to always be feeling their best.

However when they are not feeling very well or injury themselves, you want to get the best treatment for your child from your local NHS service as soon as possible.

These pages offer a guide to parents about how to use the local NHS services to their best.

It also gives guidance on winter illnesses, whether a child needs to stay off school, and how to recognise signs that a child may be seriously ill.
